About us
Family run. Rooted in South Tyrol.
Behind sapple is a family that has been tending apple orchards in Terlan for generations, in certified organic quality. Framed by the Tschögglberg and the Mendel pass, shaped by the warm days and cool nights of the Adige valley, our apples ripen slowly into aroma, acidity and substance.
These apples have always been the stuff real energy is made of up here. For a long time they only ended up on the breakfast table or in the juice press. Until someone had the idea of taking them where endurance is truly needed.

Today: apple from the Dolomites, around 25 g of carbohydrates, no artificial flavors. Up next, in the works:
Compostable packaging
To improve product quality and go easier on nature, we are currently testing the shelf life of our gel in compostable packaging, with no compromise on freshness and handling on the go.
No preservatives
For even better tolerability and organic certification we want to drop preservatives, which is why we are currently testing shelf life without them. In the long run this also makes the gel certifiable as organic.
More flavors
Always with apple as the base, joined by other fruits like apricot, grape or raspberry. Which one comes next is up to you.

Harvest fresh
Our orchard in Terlan and where we are headed.
We believe real energy does not come from a lab but from nature. Our own apples from the orchard in Terlan already go into the gel today, and we are increasing their share step by step. With natural potassium, malic acid and polyphenols from the apple.
No artificial flavours, no colourings, no compromise on performance. Crisp, aromatic, intense. Exactly the apples that real endurance energy has always come from.
The science
Three sugars from the apple, zero compromise.
The apple naturally brings three sugars: fructose, glucose and sucrose. A small, targeted amount of maltodextrin balances the ratio, with glucose taking the lead. That way several absorption pathways in the gut work in parallel. Steady energy instead of a short spike with a hard landing.
Industrial sports nutrition does its job, but often at the expense of taste, origin and tolerability. That is exactly where sapple Power comes in: performance you can understand, from real fruit instead of a lab. A premium energy gel made from ingredients you recognise, in a language that does not sound like pharma. That is the gap. And we are filling it.
Production
From South Tyrol to the world.
Our apples grow in Terlan, sapple Power is produced in Lana, both in South Tyrol, with short distances and controlled quality.
The label is pared back, the colours come from the landscape we work in. Deep green, lime green, cream. No plastic look, no neon madness. Only what you need so you know what you are holding when you are in trail mode.
